I can’t recommend this highly enough. It’s a nicely balanced training class. Nothing too complicated, just sensible exercises, and a few fun ones for puppies and adult dogs alike. If you are expecting a fully trained show dog after two lessons, then maybe this isn’t for you. But if you want your dog to enjoy learning the basics and making some new friends along the way, this is the perfect class. From simple sit/stay, how to cross the road etc. to actually coming back when you call them (most of the time!), these classes are brilliant.
It’s really good way for the dogs to socialize and for the owners to learn how to motivate their dogs.
The only downside is that my golden retriever has had so much fun working his way through all the classes (and actually passed them all!) that I’ve had to repeat a few sessions just so that he could carry on going. I’m sure he now thinks it’s more of a weekly visit to see his favourite dog trainer than somewhere he’s actually supposed to be learning !.
