This course is for puppies from 12 weeks old once fully vaccinated. It is part of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and covers all your basics: sit – down – stay – walking on a loose lead – meeting and greeting people and dogs and more. The course runs for 5 weeks on a Thursday mornings & nights.
These courses are for dogs, which are a year old or have had some basic training (puppies can move straight onto the bronze). These are a natural progression from the puppy classes (your dog does not need to have done the puppy classes before starting with the bronze). All classes are being taught in 5-week blocks. Normally it would take at least 2 blocks before assessment by a KC recognised assessor.

Sometimes it is either not suitable for the dog to come into a class situation or the owner is unable to make it to the classes. One-to-one sessions can cover day-to-day training or we also cover behaviour problems. Sometimes things go wrong for a variety of reasons. Behaviour consultations offer a support programme in order to resolve the issue.
